Earlier, reports circulated on social media that citizens of Uzbekistan were banned from entering the UAE. The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to this.

It is noted that the reports circulating about the ban on entry of Uzbeks into the UAE are unfounded and fake.

"The existing visa-free regime between Uzbekistan and the UAE remains in force. Official sources have not provided any information about the introduction of such measures," the report says.

The Foreign Ministry representative also asked citizens to trust only official and verified sources.

We would like to remind you that on April 20, videos were circulated showing a stabbing incident involving dozens of Uzbek citizens in Dubai. The UAE side reported that 15 Uzbek citizens were detained in connection with this case.

Following this incident, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahror Burhonov warned that the recent increase in illegal activities by Uzbek citizens could affect the visa-free regime.
