272 government organizations in Iran disconnected from the network for not saving gas
In the Iranian capital, Tehran, natural gas supplies have been cut off to 272 government institutions for failing to comply with energy conservation regulations. Government agencies are required to maintain temperatures in buildings below 18 degrees Celsius.
Boilers and heating systems must be turned off one hour before the end of the working day. 272 institutions that did not comply with energy conservation rules were identified.
Natural gas supplies have been cut off at these facilities. The National Iranian Gas Company has asked residents to participate in the "2 degrees less" campaign.
The goal of the campaign is to maintain stable gas supplies and ensure equitable access to the energy source throughout the country.
Energy conservation measures not only ensure the rational use of natural gas, but also aim to prevent supply disruptions during the cold winter days. The Iranian government calls on the population to respect these initiatives.
