Is Israel violating the ceasefire?
Despite the announcement of a ceasefire, Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip has killed nearly 50 people since this morning, including women and children.
Sources close to the West say that Israel is refusing to ratify the peace deal, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu citing Hamas's withdrawal from some parts of the agreement as the reason.
Interestingly, this statement came less than 24 hours after the announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza that could bring an end to the 15-month war.
Izzat al-Rishq, a member of the Palestinian resistance movement's political bureau, stressed that Hamas is committed to the agreement.
However, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (KAN) reported that the government of the occupying country is delaying ratification of the agreement as discussions continue.
