The countries are trying to reach an agreement with the United States to remove tariffs. According to CNN, President Donald Trump said that the countries where the US has imposed tariffs are sending negotiators to Washington to try to reach an agreement.

At a meeting of the Republican National Committee on April 8, Trump spoke about the requests that were pouring in from representatives of many countries.

"They are many, they always come here, they are all negotiators," the US President added.

The White House also expressed confidence in his decisions. CNN reported that representatives from Japan and South Korea have already left for Washington, and that Italian Prime Minister Giorgi Melo will visit the United States in a few days.

Recall that on April 2, Donald Trump announced that he would impose tariffs on goods from 185 countries around the world. Universal tariffs of 10% came into effect on April 5. Individual tariffs will come into effect on April 9. In this context, a decline is observed in the American stock market.
