US airstrikes in Yemen have not been enough to weaken the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen, CNN reported, citing officials and analysts. The publication notes that only a ground military operation can break the Yemeni resistance.

Despite repeated bombings, the US has failed to significantly strike the Houthis' political or military leadership, nor has it been able to neutralize their missile capabilities, the report said.

The Ansar Allah movement continues to launch attacks on Israeli targets and strike US Navy ships in the Red Sea.

CNN also noted that Washington's air operations have already cost the United States more than $1 billion. According to the publication's sources, American resources in the region are almost exhausted.
