Uzbekistan Airways has announced that flights from Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, to Tashkent may be delayed throughout May due to the start of the 2025 Hajj season and increased passenger traffic.

Flights from Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, to Tashkent may be delayed throughout May, the press service of Uzbekistan Airways reported.

According to the airline, this applies to Makhachkala - Tashkent flights from May 1 to May 31. This is due to the implementation of the "Hajj-2025" program and an increase in passenger traffic at Makhachkala International Airport, Uzbekistan Airways explained.

"We ask that you plan your arrival at the airport in advance and allow for possible delays in pre-flight security," the message says.

We would like to remind you that the 2025 Hajj season in Uzbekistan will begin on May 13. Direct flights to Medina will be organized for pilgrims via airports in Tashkent, Bukhara, Namangan, Samarkand, Karshi, Termez, Urgench, Navoi, and Nukus.
