Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that the country's Defense Ministry and national companies plan to purchase military products and components worth a total of $20 billion from the United States.

The minister said that these purchases include spare parts and other necessary components to meet the needs of the Turkish military-industrial complex.

Earlier, Hakan Fidan said in an interview with CNN Turk: "If instability arises in a neighboring country that could threaten Turkey, we cannot be spectators in such a situation. We will take all necessary measures."
