Uzbekistan sends humanitarian aid to Afghanistan
Uzbekistan has sent nearly 200 tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan in preparation for the upcoming Ramadan holiday.
The cargo of food products was delivered to Balkh province and handed over in the city of Hairaton in the presence of officials.
The cargo includes food products such as flour, wheat, pasta, vegetable oil, sugar, red beans, and mung beans.
Also, as part of the visit, a bilateral meeting was held in Mazar-i-Sharif, where views were exchanged on future cooperation and the construction of the Imam Bukhari mausoleum.
After that, Afghan officials thanked the President and people of Uzbekistan for their assistance and sent their sincere congratulations on the upcoming Eid al-Fitr.
