President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at a meeting with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, announced the introduction of a new mechanism for supporting entrepreneurs - the "first chance" principle.

According to it, entrepreneurs who commit administrative offenses for the first time will be exempted from liability and given the opportunity to eliminate their shortcomings.

The President noted that new entrepreneurs will be "insured against liability" for their first mistake, because it is important to support them in the first year of their activity.

According to statistics, 17,500 enterprises were established in the last three years, most of which were closed down in less than a year. This process is especially noticeable in the Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Khorezm, and Jizzakh regions.

Also, in order to improve public administration, all government agencies in 15 districts and cities will be housed in a single administrative building. As a result, 150 vacant buildings will be offered to entrepreneurs through auction.
