But what I don't understand is why our behavior in Ramadan doesn't carry over to other months?! Why don't we pray all year round like in Ramadan?! Why does the mosque, which is full in the mornings, decrease by half when Ramadan begins?! Why do we now consider the Qur'an as a book of Ramadan, not a book of life?! Why don't we look for poor people to give alms in other months?! Do the poor not eat in other months?!
