Unpleasant events in Gaza expose the shortcomings of international institutions and their legal frameworks, which are dysfunctional or tend to apply double standards.

The participants of the 3rd diplomatic forum held in the Antalya region of Turkey noted that the UN and the UN Security Council are in need of reform, that they are in a state of stagnation against the background of the changes taking place in the world, and that more and more civilians are being killed in armed conflicts.

The UN reported that since the first day of the war in Ukraine, 10,382 people, including 579 children, have been killed, and another 19,659 people, including 1,285 children, have been injured.

The U.N. agency said Gaza could recover its GDP by 2092 even after hostilities cease and return to its last growth rate of 0.4 percent.

By the end of the third month of the Israeli-Palestinian war, Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan may lose 10.3 billion dollars in income.
