Banks in Central Asia are refusing Russian companies. The number of cases of Central Asian banks refusing to make payments to Russian companies has increased by 30 percent. Also, payment terms with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have been extended by two weeks. The problems began in June after US sanctions were imposed on the Moscow stock exchange and other Russian companies.
