In accordance with the law signed by the President, Article 229-2 of the Criminal Code was amended to make it a crime to provide religious education without special religious education, without permission from the central governing body of a religious organization, or privately. Such actions are punishable by a fine of 50 to 100 BHM (from 20.6 million to 41.2 million soums), up to 360 hours of compulsory community service, up to three years of correctional labor, up to three years of restriction of liberty, or up to three years of imprisonment.

In Tashkent, individuals who were illegally providing religious education to children were identified and held accountable under Article 241 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (violation of the procedure for teaching religious education).

According to the Kashkadarya regional Department of Internal Affairs,

Now, if parents commit this offense, they will be fined 5 to 10 times the minimum wage. If they commit it again, they will pay a fine of 10 to 15 times the minimum wage or be imprisoned for up to 15 days.

They highly applaud the State of Israel as a secular, democratic, progressive country and a representative of Europe in the Middle East. So, have they learned about the issue of religious education in the state of Israel, which they consider a leader, always praise, and protect their honor in any case? Did you know that religious education in Israel is not a simple matter of morality, but is based on the Jewish holy book, the Torah and its commentary, the Talmud?

The difference between the Islamic legal system and other systems is that its method is based on the knowledge of God, the Absolute Knower. That is, the guidance given by Allah, the possessor of all knowledge, who is extremely wise, is without a doubt wrong and beneficial.

The hotly debated law on prosecuting parents who involve their children in illegal religious education has been put up for public discussion.

Religious education in mosques is available all over the world, it can be found in almost every country, and this authority is guaranteed in the laws of religious organizations. The world has progressed in this regard, and nowhere has a problem been reported from this education. If there is a problem with the study of Islam, either the method of teaching is wrong or the purpose itself is aimed at it. There can be no harm to any society in pure Islamic education.

In Uzbekistan, administrative responsibility is established for attracting a child to receive illegal religious education by parents or their substitutes. The relevant draft law was adopted by deputies in the first reading on June 25.
