More than 900 people have been killed and more than 3,000 injured in clashes between rebels and government forces in the eastern city of Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed Turkey's readiness to resolve the conflict between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo at a press conference held in Ankara following one-on-one and delegation meetings with Rwandan President Paul Kagame.

Turkish organizations have implemented 1,864 projects worth $85.4 billion in Africa by the end of 2023. Turkey-Africa trade has increased from $5.4 billion in 2003 to nearly $41 billion by the end of 2022. This indicator is expected to reach 50 billion dollars in 2023.
