Several Republican US representatives have drafted two bills that would send students arrested during pro-Palestinian protests to Gaza for six months of community service and revoke visas for foreign students.

Protests that started at Columbia University in the USA in mid-April have spread all over the world. Students from around the world are gathering on their campuses to protest Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip, as well as to support the protests that began at Columbia University. To date, more than 2,500 people have been arrested during the protests.

The decision comes as pro-Palestinian students began camping on university campuses this week following protests.

The investigation was launched following a complaint by the Palestinian Legal Office that it "discriminated against Palestinian students and their supporters and created an unsafe environment for them."

Under the agreement, no student, faculty member, graduate student, or graduate student will be punished, dismissed, or expelled for participating in a pro-Palestinian tent camp.

Student demonstrations in support of Palestine in the United States are intensifying. So far, more than 700 students have been arrested. Demonstrations covered more than 80 universities in the country. Children from Gaza express their gratitude to them in their own way.
