Uzbekistan Airways has introduced new flight routes to Europe based on a report from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Now, planes will bypass Russian airspace and fly via Azerbaijan and Turkey.

Flynas and Qeshm Air airlines have temporarily suspended flights to Uzbekistan due to the closure of the Iranian airspace. Jeddah-Tashkent-Jeddah and Tehran-Tashkent-Tehran flights on Thursday were cancelled. Uzbekistan Airways operates flights bypassing the airspace of Iraq and Iran.

National airline Uzbekistan Airways will launch direct flights from Nukus to Istanbul. It is said that the flights will be carried out once a week - on Mondays.
