President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Malaysia on an official visit on February 4 at the invitation of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Malaysia on February 4-5. During the visit, bilateral talks with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will be held. A joint business forum and other important events are also planned.

Uzbekistan has signed a contract to purchase ANKA unmanned aerial vehicles manufactured by TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Company). Deliveries of the drones are expected to begin soon.

During the BRICS summit held in Kazan, 13 countries, including Uzbekistan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Belarus, received the status of partner countries of the association. This is a mandatory step towards joining the club.
